Lake Catherine State Park iin AR has one of the prettiest lakes in AR. The water is cold and very refreshing for swimming, fishing, and boating. The campground is on the lake, but scoring a lakeside site requires reserving well in advance, or catching a cancellation. There are a variety of hiking trails.
