Chief Joseph and Beartooth Scenic Highways

From Cody, WY you can take a scenic drive through much of the Chief Joseph and Beartooth Highways. It is an amazing drive closed a lot of the time due to weather. It was an all day drive from Cody and looping through northern Wyoming into Montana and back down to Cody.

Here there are at least four different wildflowers in one frame. What is truly amazing to me is that these beautiful flowers form a carpet of ground cover over acres at this elevation.
